The bulletin describes what should be considered when preparing a request for statement for ethical review in human sciences. The bulletin lasts ca. 20 minutes, after which there is time for questions.

The bulletin is meant for everyone participating in the preparation of a request for statement for the Ethics Committee of the Tampere Region, and for others interested in the issue. The event is a short overview what is needed for the request.

More information about ethical reviews of non-medical research in the field of human sciences can be found on the website of the Ethics Committee of the Tampere Region.

Bulletin is presented by university lecturer Kristina Rolin. The event is organised in Teams, and a recording will be made.

Ethical review process -training

 

Tuesday 12th of December 2023 at 9.15-10.15 

Training is targeted at researchers, who are about to send the Ethics Committee a request to review proposed research protocol

After training you will be able to: 

  • Know what different documents are needed for the ethical pre-assessment of research
  • Produce a data management plan, data privacy notice and risk assessment from an ethical point of view
  • Find additional instructions and know where to ask for help if necessary

 

Trainers work as a data specialists at Tampere University data services. The university's data protection officer and the secretary of the Ethics Committee of the Tampere Region also participate as experts in the training. Training is an online training session in Zoom. Training will not be recorded.
