Preparing a request for statement for ethical review in the field of human sciences -training

The training describes what should be considered when preparing a request for statement for ethical review in human sciences. In addition to the content of the request, common shortcomings of the requests sent to the Ethics Committee of the Tampere Region are discussed. At the end of the training, there is time reserved for questions.

The training is targeted for everyone participating in the preparations of request for statements for the Ethics Committee of the Tampere Region, and for others interested on the topic.
More information about ethical reviews of non-medical research in the field of human sciences can be found on the website of the Ethics Committee of the Tampere Region.

Training is given by University Lecturer Kristina Rolin and Senior Specialist Ville Rantanen. It is organised in Teams, and a recording will be made.

Research data management and ethics -training

 

Wednesday 23rd of October at 9.00-10.00 

Data management and ethics -training is targeted at researchers, staff, students and everyone interested in research ethics. Especially we recommend this training to the thesis supervisors.

After training you will be able to: 

  • You know what the different areas of good scientific practice are and how data management is connected to this
  • You know how to manage your research data ethically throughout the life cycle of the research
  • Find additional instructions and know where to ask for help if necessary

Trainers work as a data specialists at Tampere University data services. The training will be held in TEAMS and it will not be recorded.
