Responsible and open science trainings

Trainings offered by Tampere University Research Data Services

We organise research data management trainings covering topics such as data protection, data management planning, storage solutions, data security and data management ethics. Content of trainings and workshops can also be tailored to meet your needs. If you want a workshop for your research group, team or student group, do not hesitate to contact us.

We maintain Data management guide where you can find guidelines and links to resources on organising, storing, sharing, and protecting your research data.

We support data management planning by commenting on data management plans and by providing tips on good data management practices. You can also contact us when you write a privacy notice or a risk assessment related to the processing of personal data.

We offer also data manager services for research projects. A data manager is a data management professional whose tasks are tailored to the needs of each research project. The tasks can include for example data and risk management planning, compilation of the data management plan (DMP), support with data protection documentation, or data wrangling. The data manager works as a member of the project team and part of the salary is covered by the project budget according to the allocated working hours.

Please contact us, so we can discuss your needs with data management.

Session slides will be available on this guide after the trainings.
