Scopus is Elsevier's abstract and reference database. It has an AI add-on, Scopus AI, which is based on retrieval-augmented generation. Scopus AI is based on natural language, meaning you can write your question or hypothesis in normal language, without regard to keywords or Boolean operators. Based on the question or hypothesis you write, Scopus AI searches for publications published since 2003 and uses their abstracts to create an answer, or a short summary, on the topic. The summary includes references to source articles found in the Scopus database.
