Generative, or conversational, AI applications are trained on massive volumes of text, which allows them to engage in dialogue on almost any topic. However, it’s important to remember that the text produced by AI models is not always reliable and should not be used as a factual source.

ChatGPT is a generative AI chatbot developed by OpenAI, launched in 2022. It was the first widely available service based on a large language model capable of producing human-like conversational responses. It remains the most well-known and widely used conversational AI application.
