If we haven’t got a book or other resource you need in our collections, we can order it for you from another library. You can order interlibrary loans by filling out an online form.This service carries a fee.

Acquisition request to library

With the aquisition request form you may make suggestions regarding new acquisitions for the collections of Tampere University Library.

Get It Now (GIN) is a service hosted by Copyright Clearance Center (CCC). The staff and students of Tampere Universities can use it to order articles that are not included in the library's e-collections. Get It Now further improves the availability of scientific e-journals.

How to use it?

• We recommend that you sign into Andor first with your tuni account.
• Search for the article by using the article's name or DOI identifier. If the article is available via Get It Now, you can find the CCC Get It Now link in the article reference.
• An order form opens from the link. Fill out your email address and accept the terms and conditions.
• You will get the article directly to your inbox within 24 hours, often in a matter of hours.

Please notice

• CCC stores data on a cloud service located in the United States. CCC stores the email address of the user as well as the articles ordered.
• The library receives customer data stored by the company for billing purposes. If the library uses the customer data for the development of its services and collections, the data will be anonymized.
• For further details check the security policies and the privacy policies. US data protection laws do not fully correspond to European laws.

Request from author

You can send a request for an article directly to the corresponding author. The author may be able to share the article with an individual colleague or student within the publisher's licensing agreement. Please note that extensive sharing of articles is not usually permitted under the licence agreement. Articles may be requested by researchers via services such as ResearchGate, Academia.edu and Mendeley

Purchase an article

You can purchase articles through the online services provided by the journals or the publisher, by paying the price charged for each of the articles. The payments are usually by credit card.

Student, now you can access an even wider selection of scientific articles. Get It Now article service is available for the students of Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
