Tampere University Library is happy to help you with any questions you might have regarding the library's services or information searching - or any other study-related questions you might have.

Remote access

Remote use of e-materials from outside Tampere University or Tampere University of Applied Sciences requires logging into the library's search service at TuniLib or Andor with your Tuni-id. More information on remote access from the Library website.

Use this guide to study the principles of scientific information searching: narrowing down a topic, choosing the right search terms and information sources and evaluating the search results. Mastering these valuable skills will prove useful in your studies and later on in the working life. We highly recommend examining this guide carefully, it is worth it.

The original guide has been designed and realized in co-operation with four different university libraries (Aalto University Library, Lappeenranta Academic Library, Oulu University Library and Tampere University of Technology Library). This version has been modified to match the materials and services provided by the Tampere University Library.

Good luck with finding information!
